Amla chutney |
t is winter time and Indian wet markets are full of fresh and juicy gooseberry. So I make sure to include this super nutritious fruit in my daily diet. Apart from adding 2 amla daily to my miracle juice, I often make this simple amla chutney.
This amla chutney is very easy to make and goes well with any sandwich, parathas, peas and cutlets and chaat. Can be served with idli, dosa or vada. If made from rock salt, then this chutney can be used during fasting or fasting. I serve this chutney with raw banana cutlets during fasting. Adding roasted peanuts not only enhances the nutrition of this chutney but also gives a nice nutty taste to the spicy chutney!
material:
2-3 amla
1/2 cup fresh coriander
1 green chili
2 tbsp curd
1 tbsp roasted peanuts
1/2 tsp sugar (optional)
