ਕਈ ਆਸ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਨੇ 
ਵਿੱਚ ਤਕਦੀਰਾਂ ਤੇ ।

ਹੱਥ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਕੀਰਾਂ ਤੇ ।

ਕਈ ਆਸ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਨੇ 
ਸਾਧੂ ਫਕੀਰਾਂ ਤੇ ।

ਕਈ ਆਸ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਨੇ 
ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਓ ਦੀਆਂ ਜਗੀਰਾਂ ਤੇ ।
