My question is not about Punjabi music per se, but the use of Punjabi in a Bollywood song. I do not know much Punjabi. I have been wondering about the meaning of the line "jaddo nachche pehn di / poora London Thumakda" in the song "London Thumakda" from the movie "Queen" that stars Kangana Ranaut. What does "pehn di" mean in this line? I have heard people use "pehn di" for swearing. But I am not sure if that is what is intended in the song. Can someone please help me understand.
