ਦੂਜਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਔਗੁਣ ਤੱਕਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਮੈਂ

ਆਪਣੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਝਾਤੀ ਨਾ ਮਾਰ ਸਕਿਆ ।

ਦੂਜਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਨਿੰਦਿਆ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਮੈਂ

ਆਪਣੀ ਨਿੰਦਿਆ ਨਾ ਸੁਣ ਸਕਿਆ ।

ਦੂਜਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਬੁਰਿਆਈਆਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਮੈਂ

ਆਪਣੀ ਵਾਰੀ ਨਾ ਸ਼ਹਿ ਸਕਿਆ ।

ਜਦ ਆਪਣੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਝਾਤੀ ਮਾਰੀ ਤਾਂ

ਸੱਚ ਕਹਾ ਮੁੱਖੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਕਹਿ ਨਾ ਸਕਿਆ ।
