When taking about politics, one cannot ignore a number of Political rallies that take place not only at the time of election but also at various melas across Punjab.

Let us all put our views about these rallies... are they really worth?

Lets discuss the pros and cons of these rallies.

I can understand some positive effects of Political Rallies before election. In a way, they let the politicians get in touch with masses and tell them about their agenda.

I really doubt the impact of these rallies during our festivals/melas. I fing newspapers/news giving more coverage to these rallies than the mela itself.

Last but not the least.. i am totally against the shakti pradarshans done by the political parties. I remember once there were two such rallies(one by SAD and other by BJP) in Punjab on the same day. Thousands ans thousands gathered from all over Punjab to visit these rallies. There was a huge traffic chaos all over Punjab.

I believe most of us know the political parties hire ppl and gather them at the rallies to show off their support... do u really think its worth the time and money spent on these Rallies?

mere khyaal naal tan bilkul v jayaz ni jinna paisa apne ethe campaigning ch laaya janda...

haan honi chahidi... but certain limits de vich reh ke.... bahut jyada paisa kharch keeta janda sarkari khajaane da...... jo ki state ya country di economy te hor bojh paa dinda........................

ਪਰ ਇਹ ਪ੍ਚਾਰ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਪਾਰਟੀਆਂ ਅਖਬਾਰਾਂ, ਟੀਵੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਵੀ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਵੀ ਘੱਟ ਸਮੇ 'ਚ ਤੇ ਘੱਟ ਖਰਚ ਵਿੱਚ.........
